Artificial Intelligence That Predicts Sensitizing Potential of Cosmetic Ingredients w… | RTCL.TV

The aim of this study was to develop an in silico model to predict the sensitizing potential of cosmetic ingredients based on their physical and chemical properties. The model was then tested against historical animal data and in vitro test results. The model performed well, with an accuracy of 86% and sensitivity of 80%. It was also able to identify seven out of fifteen emerging and less studied haptens as being potentially sensitizing.
